We believe that working on sustainability issues becomes all the more interesting when you look beyond the wall. International cooperation offers many learning opportunities and can be done in many ways.
We also offer you inspiration and translated MOS materials and tools.
If we want to keep our planet livable for everyone, we have to work on it together. By exchanging with one or more schools abroad or across the language border, you explore sustainability issues across borders.
Our choices have an impact on the lives of others, including people in other regions. With a view beyond your own school or environment, the need to work on a sustainable world becomes more concrete. Support for reducing the ecological footprint of your school often widens as well.
International cooperation can take many forms. You can exchange online through eTwinning or actually cross the border and go on Erasmus+. Sometimes both are combined. School Links gives your pupils a taste of other worlds.
Exchanges are possible at different levels. You can choose to have an exchange at teacher level only, but also set up an exchange where the students are involved.
MOS schools that meet the 7 steps of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) qualify for international recognition as Eco-Schools and receive the Green Flag. MOS made a good practice of an Erasmus+ project in a kindergarten. The starting point was the KaMOShibai story 'Terra is ill'. This story, our other KaMOShibais and the corresponding practical guides are available in English.
MOS has translated many tools and materials to facilitate exchanges. Most of the materials have been translated into English.
